My Favourite Foundations

Foundation is a must have in any woman's make up bag, but there is always that one question we ask... Which one to get?
I personally think we should spend time when choosing our foundation, making sure we pick the one that's most suitable to our skin tone and skin type if you want more information take a look at my post on Choosing the right foundation.

 MAC's Loose Foundation:

This is one of the more expensive foundations of the group at £25, but I absolutely love this!  It's a loose powder foundation that I can wear  on it's own or I can team it with another foundation depending on the amount of coverage I need.
When I am having a good skin day then I don't bother with using 2 foundations I will just use this.
It doesn't look cakey or really dry on my skin which is the one thing I worry/hate with foundations.
You can't feel it on your skin either which I personally love I can't stand heavy thick foundation, It makes my skin feel all clogged up.

Rimmel's Stay Matte Foundation

For me this is a foundation I use when I want full coverage. It's a thicker cream/mousse but settles on the skin like silk, and it's a matt finish which is my favourite type of foundation to use.

 Seventeen's CC Cream

This is currently my everyday use foundation and for £6.99 I can say it's a steal. The foundation claims to cover and correct and it definitely does for me. I was surprised at how dark it comes out of the tub though but it quickly adjust and lighten to my skin tone. It covers blemish and corrects any uneven skin tones on my skin.
Only thing I would say is just make sure you blend it in or you can end up a bit orange looking!

Benefit Bigger Than BB Big Easy

I couldn't talk about foundation and not mention this one. Benefit is a new brand for me and I love their products, but being a mum means items like this are treat ones as they are fairly pricy.
I love the coverage and you can keep building the foundation to create as little or as much coverage as you like.
Texture wise it'.s like a liquid powder, and it's extremely easy to apply.
I like to team it with my Mac foundation as the shade I have is very light so I can lend up looking a bit pale. I could of brought the next shade up but when I tried it, it looked slightly yellow on my skin so chose the lighter shade.  I tend to use this more for when I am filming as well as it giving me a full coverage it also looks natural and its subtle on my face.

What foundations do you swear by?
