A Family Day Out to Blenheim Palace

Yesterday myself and the boys, along with my mum and younger siblings took a trip to Blenheim palace.
If you've never heard/been to Blenheim Palace it's an 18th century stately home which is currently resident to the 12th Duke of Marlborough and his family in Woodstock, Oxfordshire.
Blenheim palace is a truly beautiful and breathtaking place, with it's beautifully landscaped gardens, water features and of course the history enriched palace it has something for everyone.

Through the summer Blenheim hosts an array of events from a family cycling day, to jousting tournaments, Robin Hood the musical and the Blenheim Palace Festival of Transport.
I purchased an annual ticket for the price of £28 this will give me free entry all year with also a discount on the food, drinks and in the gift shop. It's extremely great value for money, especially if your like me and like to save money.
The boys just love it here, with a play park, a maze, a rideable train, a butterfly house and endless green grass to run about on I can assure you your children will be thoroughly knackered by the end of the day.
Below are just a few photos from our day out and I think you can agree it's a beautiful place.

Have you ever been to Blenheim Palace ?
