Play-Doh Creations // Magical Oven & Sizzlin' Stovetop Review

We love Play-Doh in this house, I always buy the boys a set of Play-Doh at Christmas or on birthday's I know it's something that will always be played with no matter the weather and it never goes out of fashion!

One of our favourite things to do is to pull the Play-Doh out on rainy days. We have a huge set up on the dining room table and the boys love it! We can easily spend all afternoon creating, the possibilities are endless.

Last week we were sent two of the newest Play-Doh  Kitchen Creations sets, the Magical Oven and the Sizzlin' Stovetop.

Magical Oven

Calling all aspiring bakers, the Magical Oven is a fantastic opportunity to practise your baking skills.
Use the play-doh to mould and bake your favourite pastries and cupcakes.

Put your creation into the oven, close the door and pull the handle down to activate the light inside.
Once it's finished baking the light will change from red to white! Don't forget to listen out for the Ding! as well.

The set comes with the following:

Magical Oven
6 x pots of play-doh
3x shape cutters
1 x rolling pin
1 x knife, fork, and spoon
3 x pastry moulds
1 x cupcake tray
1 x pastry tray
1 x plate

There is such a variety to be made, we had so much fun making our little play-doh goodies.
From Pizzas and pies to cookies and cakes, there is so much to make. I especially love that the oven has lots of little moulds all over it, my youngest Archie loved being able to make a family of mini gingerbread men from it.

Magical Oven £24.99

Sizzlin' Stovetop

Time to get Sizzlin in the kitchen with the Sizzlin' Stovetop
Here children can practise their fine cooking skills, cooking a steak dinner, frying an egg and make lots of their favourite or not so favourite veggies.

Hear the food sizzle as you cook and using real cooking sounds, the sound intensifies as you add your creations to the pans!
The stovetop requires 3 AA batteries in order to use the sound function.

The box contains:

5 x Play-doh
2 x Plates
1 x Fork
1 x Knife
1 x Spatula
1 x Tongs
1 x Rollin pin
4 x Food cutters
2 x Cooking Pans
1 x Sizzlin' stove

It's perfect for learning through play not just via colours and shapes but by learning about different types of food and how to cook food. I asked the boys to make healthy meal ideas along with making some of their favourite desserts using the Magic Oven.  We were able to discuss what foods are healthy and what foods are more as a treat type food.
This then transferred over to real life as both of the boys took an interest in helping me cook at dinner time.

                                                                Sizzlin' Stovetop £21.99

(Batteries not included)

Play-Doh is a brand we know and love the quality and selection of products in the range are all that I would expect from Play-Doh and the prices are fantastic for what you get.

If you are struggling with gifts then Play-Doh is what you need, I already have my eyes on several sets for the boys this Christmas. like I said above it doesn't go out of fashion and it's fun as well as educational.

*Items have been sent to me for the purpose of a review all thoughts and photos are that of my own unless otherwise stated.
